Description
Come join the crew of Maui Offroad Adventures for the "ride of your life" ... a 2 hour scenic UTV tour on the island of Maui. You'll have the chance to drive (or be a passenger) in one of the most advanced off-road vehicles around today ... the Polaris RZR. The RZR seats 4, and qualified drivers may take turns driving throughout the tour. A guide leads you through a maze of trails and off-roading at their scenic location.
Conveniently located on the slopes above the Kapalua Airport and just minutes away from Lahaina and Kaanapali Resorts, the Kapalua course offers 1400 acres of riding terrain with hairpin turns, tight lines through the jungle, and breathtaking view of the ocean and the islands of Lanai and Molokai in the distance. This land was once home to a pineapple farm but now it is being transformed back into a native Hawaiian forest. On each tour a stop is made to plant a koa tree ... a native Hawaiian hardwood that is valued for it strength and beauty.
For the off-road adventure enthusiast, this tour is sure to quicken your pulse and put a smile on your face! Experience scenic views, bamboo forest runs, hills, river crossings, jungle canopies, and more!

Kevin's Activity Tips:
I've been on quite a few ATV tours all over the state of Hawaii over the years. I must say, of all the ones I've done I really enjoyed this one the most. Some tours feel a bit slow and vehicles move along at a very deliberate pace established by the lead guide. This one is different. The pace was faster, and the trail is quite narrow in places as you zoom between trees and through thick underbrush. While no ATV tour is going to be truly "aggressive" and allow you to go crazy, this one feels a step in that direction. Views are fantastic, and the trail is diverse with tight lines between the trees and wide open grassy slopes with hairpin turns.
If you want to drive an ATV and don't want to feel like you are riding in a golf cart looking for a lost ball in the rough, this IS the ATV tour for you! These vehicles seat 4, and you can change up the drivers during the tour (subject of course to driver qualifications).
