Description
Join the crew of Hawaii Nautical on board one of their beautiful sailing catamarans for a encounter with Hawaii's Green Sea Turtles (guaranteed sightings!) With Waikiki Turtle Snorkel Sail, you will experience the azure waters of Hawaii, Waikiki sights, and snorkeling with tropical fish and the friendly honu (turtles). You have the option of departing from the Hilton Pier right at Waikiki Beach, or from Kewalo Harbor which is just 10 minutes or so away.
The Hilton Waikiki location is walking distance from hotels and condos on the west side of Waikiki. Guests staying in Central Waikiki and those staying toward Diamond Head may find the Kewalo Harbor depature more convenient as you may drive yourself there or the tour operator will provide transportation for $15 per person.
Turtle sightings are GUARANTEED on any of the trips on this page ... you will see turtles or go again for free! (We've never had anyone actually need to use that guarantee.)

Kevin's Activity Tips:
Waikiki is a fun beach for hanging out and watching the crowds, and for swimming and even surfing if you know what you are doing. The one thing that is NOT good at Waikiki Beach is snorkeling. The bottom is 100% sand, which is great for wading and swimming but lousy for attracting fish and sea life. If you snorkel there the visibility isn't usually all that great, and the only thing you are liking to see underwater is other people's legs.
To appreciate the underwater world you really need to go out on a boat that will take you to clear water, reefs with fish and other sea life, and of course the star of the reef show is the Hawaiian Honu, the gentle green sea turtles that hang out in these areas. Don't go to Hawaii and miss snorkeling with them.
These trips are handy for people staying in Waikiki hotels and condos The first two leave from the Hilton Pier, which is walking distance from most of the the Western end of Waikiki. The other two leave from Kewalo Basin that requires a drive (or Uber). Our recommendation is to do one of the Hilton trips if you are walking distance from the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki. If you are far enough that you need to drive, and you have a rental car, do one of the trips from Kewalo Basin. They are a little less expensive, and parking is easier (and cheaper) than in Waikiki.
