There is no tour on the island of Oahu that squeezes as much into a day as the Polynesian Cultural Center / Circle Island / Arizona Memorial tour offer by Enoa. Your day begins with complimentary hotel pickup in Waikiki area, as well as Honolulu Harbor and airport area hotels. This tour is operated in motor coach vehicles with oversized windows for superior visibility ... no big bus tours here! You'll appreciate the smaller group size with more personal interaction with your driver / guide and less sitting around and waiting than the giant 55 passenger bus tours!
First stop is at Pearl Harbor where you will see the visitor's center and museum, and then board the shuttle boat to take you out to view the Arizona Memorial.
Next is a stop at the Dole Pineapple Plantation visitor's center where you can sample some of the delicious pineapple treats. Your tour vehicle will drive through miles of pineapple fields during this portion of the tour.
Next comes the drive through the North Shore past some legendary surfing beaches including Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach. During winter months the surf here gets HUGE. In the summer the waters are calm and giant surf gives way to colorful, picturesque ocean vistas.
A lunch stop is made on the North Shore where you may purchase food on your own. Then it is on to the featured attraction on this tour ... an extended visit to the Polynesian Cultural Center. There are seven villages here displaying architecture, culture, and lifestyle of different island groups of the Pacific. You'll receive a guided tour of five of these villages, and ample time to explore the other two on your own. You will also get to see their "canoe pageant" in their central lagoon.
As the evening begins, you'll enjoy a buffet dinner provided by the Polynesian Cultural Center, followed by the evening show ... the title of the current feature is "HA - The Breath of Life." This is the largest Polynesian show anywhere in Hawaii and is a saga of passion ... ignited by fire, song, and dance ... with a cast of over 100 performers! After the show, you'll be returned to your pickup point completing your memorable day.
Schedule: Tour offered Monday through Saturday ... closed Sundays. Morning pickup is between7:00am and 7:20am. Approximate return is 10:30pm.
Attire and Advisory: Dress comfortably and wear good walking shoes. A lunch stop is made en route and food and drinks are available for purchase. Dinner buffet at the Polynesian Cultural Center is included with this tour. Please note that Villages at the Polynesian Cultural Center involve a great deal of walking.

CRUISE
SHIP PASSENGERS |
This tour may be available for cruise ship passengers who are in port Monday through Saturday but is subject to your arrival / departure times. For those who are coming to Oahu prior to going on the Pride of America cruise ship, this tour would work well on FRIDAY, the day before your cruise begins.
ACTIVITY
TIPS
This tour combines two of the very essential Oahu sites into one very incredible day, with sightseeing along the way! If you are spending less than a full week on Oahu, or if a convention is limiting your discretionary time, this tour is a very good idea.
Due to security issues at Pearl Harbor, you shouldn't take anything along that you don't really need. A camera is fine, as well as a wallet. Anything larger will need to stay in the tour vehicle, and the tour operator cannot be held responsible for any theft or loss as the guide doesn't stay with the vehicle. Bag check is available at Pearl Harbor for a small fee.
The stop at the Dole Plantation is not long; you won't have time to ride the train or wander their "world's largest outdoor topiary maze" but that's not really a great loss. You will have time to see some displays and taste some pineapple treats at the snack bar ... or buy souvenirs in their extensive gift shop.
This is a long tour and on the pricey side, but it's actually a great value considering ALL that is included and the sheer length and distance covered throughout the day. You are at the Polynesian Cultural Center for approximately 7 hours, so you'll get to see and do it all! While the Polynesian exhibits are extensive, we don't find this to be a complete luau substitute. For a luau, we prefer the experience at Paradise Cove on Oahu's sunny leeward side ... or one of the more intimate luaus on Maui, the Big Island, or Kauai. The dinner buffet at Polynesian Cultural Center does not include any alcohol nor is any alcohol available for purchase (it's run by the Mormon Church as an opportunity to showcase their missionary work throughout the Pacific). The Polynesian Cultural Center is certainly worth a visit, but for us a luau without a Mai Tai is not a luau in the truest sense of the word.
