ACTIVITY
TIPS
Waikiki means "glistening waters" and it is thought to refer to the shimmering effect the late afternoon sun has on the surface of the ocean. While Waikiki is known for its beach and surf break, there are waterfalls in Waikiki as well! Almost every resort has one somewhere on the property. Unfortunately they are all fake! If you want to see a REAL waterfall you have to get out of town and do a little hiking. This tour offers you that chance! It also gives you an excellent opportunity to snorkel at Hanauma Bay marine preserve, a spot President Obama likes to snorkel with his family when they visit Hawaii (although he gets to go there on Tuesday when Hanauma Bay is closed). I guess being the leader of the free world has it's perks.
This excursion is offered by E'Noa Tours. Oahu is their specialty and they are experts on this island. Their guides are personable and knowledgable, certified by the state of Hawaii to conduct tours.
