Maui Mountain Activities offers exciting trail rides on horses! Ride through the West Maui Mountains to an elevation of approximately 2500 feet. You will see waterfalls from a distance, and then head down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of the island’s native rainforests and the beauty of Maui’s stunning waters.  The trail guides will take photos of you along the way with your camera, and they will teach you the history of Maui.

Morning Horseback Ride

On this ride you will climb 2500ft in elevation and along the coastline.  There will be 2 opportunities to run your horses if you want to and weather permitting.

Check in: 8:15am

Duration: 2-2.5 hours

Afternoon Horseback Ride

The afternoon ride goes down to the coastline to ride alongside the ocean.  You will have an chance to run your horse if you want to and weather permitting.

Check in: 12:15pm

Gear Provided: Helmets and saddlebags.

What to Bring & Wear: Wear long pants, closed toe shoes, and sunscreen.

Restrictions: Minimum age is 7, and minors must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum weight is 250 pounds.

Reservations: Age, height, weight and riding experience for each rider is required.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the start of the event.

Cruise Ship Passengers

NCL cruise ship passengers are able do Maui Mountain Activities on the morning or afternoon of their second day in port in Kahului. This is a 10-12 minute cab ride to the ranch, or we can arrange a rental car with shuttle pick-up at the harbor.

 

This can also work for Lahaina cruise ship passengers on the afternoon of their first day(as long as your ship is running tenders until at least 8pm) or on the morning of their second day in port but you will need a rental car and the drive time is about an hour.
